The Sporotrichosis - Pox Walkers

The Sporotrichosis-infected Kroot Farstalkers are now Poxwalkers, victims of Nurgle's fruit, an insidious parasitic mycelium that overtakes hosts and drives them to feed and spread the spores of Nurgle further. They are terror troops; even their ceaseless groaning is a vector by which they infect the living with nightmares and terrors. In battle, they drown their foes in a sea of infected flesh, clawing hands, gnashing teeth, and mutated appendages.

I love space hulks and everything about them. When the 'Into the Dark' box set was released, I had to have it as I plan to create a space hulk-themed game board for Killteam and 40k at home. The Kroot and the Navy Breachers are super interesting, but my love for my Death Guard was no match to keep them within their own factions. As conversions are now a passion of mine, and I love the challenge to make something truly unique, these hilarious and grim space zombies were a huge addition to my already very thematic army. I now have a dream to have 60 poxwalkers all comprised of various other factions.
